The 2ND to the last month of the year
Time to reflect on our Blessings in Life; The Blessing of Life;
Cool turns to Cold, Icy, and Frozen
Yellow, Gold, Maroon, and Brown become Grey...then White, Silver, Gold, Red, and Green
Days grow Shorter, Nights grow Colder and Longer
Lawnmowers and Rakes are stowed away while Shovels, Scrapers, and Snow blowers stand at the ready
Grilling is replaced by Crock pot Specialties, Chili, Stew, and Soups
Cotton is layered now with Wool- Scarves, Mittens, Hats, Sweaters, and Socks
Comfort Foods are now Warm, Hot even- Hot Chocolate, Oatmeal, Herbal Tea, Tomato Soup, Beef Stew
Couches and Rocking Chairs are draped with Afghans and Quilts for not only Beauty, but for Warmth
It's time to sleep with socks on our feet and to carry Kleenex and Chap stick in our pockets & purses
{November} 2009 is almost over.
Another amazing year now quickly folds into the excitement and glow of the Holiday season and then... fades into another year.
